Hotel Villas Gaia

“It’s working perfectly”

Purasol has installed two 150 litre solar water heaters at Luc Van Basel’s luxury Villas Gaia apartment complex, near Playa Tortuga.

“It’s all good” says Luc, “it’s working perfectly.”

The water heaters collect the sun’s rays and transfer that energy through copper heat pipes which directly heat 150 litres of water. When it is first installed the tank will fully heat the cold water within an hour or two, and keeps water hot for 48 hours.

Solar water heaters are ideal for hotels and businesses as well as homes, giving a noticeable reduction to fuel bills. “You save a lot of money” says Luc.
